Council of Europe Sets Terms For 20 October Roma Summit

Thorbjørn Jagland, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, and Antonio Miloshoski, Chairman of the Committee of Ministers, have invited governments, the EU and international organisations to attend a high-level meeting and agree priorities to improve integration of Roma people in Europe.

Member state governments will be represented by Ministers and Secretaries of State from foreign, interior or European affairs ministries. Representatives of the media are welcome to follow this event at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. Documentation will be available on the website shortly.
